Billawas Dubai to distribute scholarships worth Rs 12 lakhs on August 11

Mangalore, Aug 9, 2013:  Billawas Dubai and  Northern Emirates, an organization of Billawas residing in Dubai and other parts of UAE, will be distributing scholarships to needy students  at a function to  be held at Adhyaksha Koragappa Memorial Hall,Sri Gokarnanatha Temple, Kudroli on August 11 at 10 am.

 

 

Informing this to reporters, Jitendra Suvarna, President of  Billawas Dubai said scholarships amounting to Rs 12 lakh will be distributed among 225 needy students.

A host of dignitaries including senior Congress leader B Janardhan Poojari, Belthangady MLA K Vasanth Bangera, Kudroli Temple Management Committee President HS Sairam and Shri Guru Charitable Trust President  Sadananda Suvarna will  participate as chief guests, he said. Suvarna also informed that since 2001 the association has  distributed scholarships amounting to Rs 78 lakhs to deserving students.
