Bharatanatyam Performance Enthralls Kids at Presidency School

Mangalore, Mar 10. 2012: Leaving their regular academics aside, students of Presidency School, enjoyed the performance by renowned Bhartanatyam exponent Ms Gayatri Balagurunathan in their campus under the auspices of SPIC MACAY Mangalore chapter recently.

 

 

 

 

In her hour and half long performance, Ms Gayatri dazzled and captivated the audience, who were mesmerized by her latent talent. Besides the usual performance, Ms Gayatri elaborated depiction of Navarasa to children and how to narrate a tale through mudras and dance. She was ably supported by Mr Gopakiram( Natuangam), Ms JyothismathibSrijith (vocal), Mr K R Venkatasubramaniam( mridangam) and Mr T K Padmanabhan ( violin)

She invited children to ask questions and was impressed by nature of meaningful questions posed by them.

The senior Principal Mr Kailash Pawar presented her and accompanying artists token of rememberance.
