Bhajrangdal activists raid ice cream parlour at Attavar

Mangalore, Jan 30, 2013: Bhajrangdal activists who raided an ice cream parlour at Attavar on January 30, Wednesday, alleging that immoral activities were underway at the parlour, have handed over three young men and four women to the Pandeshwar police.

According to sources, the young men and women were at the music lounge located on the top floor of the parlour. The Bhajrangdal activists were reportedly informed by some passersby who noticed the youngsters through the window.

The Bhajrangdal has claimed that it only acted following a ‘complaint’ by some members of the public. The activists later informed the Pandeshwar police and the seven youngsters including four girls were handed over to the police.

All the seven have been taken to Pandeshwar police station. Details are awaited.
