Mangalore, Sep 12, 2013 : State Minister for Youth Services and Fisheries Abhayachandra Jain who represents Moodbidri constituency, has admitted that there has been not much co-operation on the part of the Chattisgarh Government as far as the probe into the Siddantha Darshana Mandir theft case is concerned.
Speaking to reporters here, the State Minister said the interrogations of the accused have revealed that the antique idols stolen from the Basadi were sold in Chattisgarh through an international businessman.
But there is no co-operation from the Chattisgarh Government in recovering the idols, Jain said.
On the rise in thefts in Moodbidri, Abhayachandra Jain attributed the same to the shortage of police personnel.
