Bantwal: Pillion rider dies after two-bike collision at Punjalkatte

Bantwal, Aug 2, 2025: A pillion rider who was critically injured in a collision between two motorcycles on the BC Road–Villupuram State Highway at Punjalkatte has succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Janardhan Moolya (51), a resident of Pilathabettu. The accident occurred in front of Punjalkatte Hospital while he was traveling on a bike with Shivraj.
The collision involved bikes ridden by Shivraj and Satish. Both riders sustained minor injuries and escaped danger. Punjalkatte SI Rajesh visited the spot and registered a case.
