Bantwal: Kerala’s ‘most wanted’ accused nabbed after car accident

Bantwal, Aug 20, 2025: A car belonging to a ‘most wanted’ accused of Kerala police met with an accident at Manchi. The vehicle, driven by Kerala resident Mohammed Razik, collided with another Kerala-registered car. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. His friends, Sibin and Sayyad Mohammed Al Ameen, were also reportedly in the car.
Razik, who already has multiple cases against him and is an accused in a case registered at Manjeshwar police station in Kerala, was being tracked by a Kerala police team. Acting on a tip-off that he was heading towards Bantwal on Tuesday afternoon, the police launched a chase.
Upon realizing that he was being pursued, Razik attempted to escape by speeding, but ended up ramming into an Alto car at Montimaru near Manchi. He tried to flee, but the police managed to nab him promptly. Bantwal rural police also visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
