Mangalore, Mar 14, 2012: The organizers of Bal Bharat Srujanotsav 2012 had a review meeting at Bal Bavan on March 14. 

It may be recalled that Bal Bharat Srujanotsav 2012 was jointly organized by the DK district administration and the Bal Bhavan Society at Pilikula Nisargadhama in Moodushedde in January. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sulochana G. K. Bhat, the president of the Karnataka Bal Bhavan Society, said that the committee has done a wonderful job in organizing this event. She said that the Bihar team had arrived a day early and had left a day late and had remarked before leaving that they are happy with the hospitality they received. 

Stating that the event was organized on a budget of Rs. 69 lakh, she said that food and accommodation was provided within this budget. Since the North Indian students were not satisfied with South Indian fare, a separate counter was arranged for them from the second day. 

Expressing her satisfaction regarding the resource persons, she said that they motivated the students well. Initially, the organizers were worried about the time factor, but everything went according to schedule, she added. 

Speaking on the occasion, ZP CEO Dr. K. N. Vijayaprakash said that the organizers decided to take a month’s break because the Youth Festival had made them tired. The Srujanotsav was arranged in one week, he said. He also expressed his appreciation for the media and said that they had covered the event well, ensuring its success.
