BJP rubbishes land-grabbing allegations against C. T. Ravi

Mangalore, Oct 31, 2012 : The district BJP has declared that the land-grabbing allegations leveled against District-in-charge Minister C. T. Ravi are baseless. The party has also declared its support for C. T. Ravi.

MLC Monappa Bhandary told reporters that former MLA Vijaykumar Shetty’s allegations that C. T. Ravi has illegally acquired 150 acres of forest property in Chikmagalur are baseless.

Accusing Shetty of making such accusations to improve his position in the Congress party and to secure a seat in the upcoming elections, he declared that neither C. T. Ravi nor the BJP is worried about Shetty’s threats of holding protests against Ravi.

He also challenged AICC President Sonia Gandhi to provide details of all the scams the Congress government is involved in.
