Continuing his tirade against the BJP, he said that the media must know the difference between corrupt politicians and those who are honest and sincere. Explaining the difference between the sincere and the corrupt, he said that the sincere support only the sincere and the corrupt associate only with the corrupt, become aggressive, and more corrupt. He added that he only visits the houses of sincere people and that he has never stepped into the house of CM B. S. Yeddyurappa.

Flaying Dhananjay Kumar, he said that Kumar is the most corrupt MP in the history of the country. Accusing Kumar of looting a majority of the people in the state, he said that he owned several sites and flats when he was the finance minister. He added that Kumar was also involved in the issue of film stars. Further listing out the sins of the BJP, he said that the election officer is the CM’s agent, owing to which the case filed by the Congress against ZP President Santhosh Kumar Bhandary was disqualified.

Speaking about the virtues of the Congress party, he said that the party has always given power to women. He informed reporters that G. Parameshwarappa will visit Mangalore on Nov 30 to participate in the programme to be held in Town Hall.

Criticizing the Pejawar Mutt seer, he said that the swamiji is supporting the BJP in spite of their mistakes. Although the Congress has donated large sums of money to the Mutt, the seer has chosen to act in favor of the BJP, he lamented.

Congress workers and leaders such as MLA U. T. Khader, M. J. Hegde, Ivan D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, Suresh Ballal, and others were present during the press conference.
