Mangalore, Dec 18,2012: Sr Jessy Crasta, the Principal of Rosa Mystica PU College has clarified on the recent row over Ayyappa Vrithadhari students in the college and added the matter has been resolved.
She said the college would not initiate any action against the students concerned and that they can go on pilgrimage. She also said if the students miss their exams then it will be their own responsibility.
Commenting on the controversy, she said though the concerned students were asked to bring their parents, they had instead brought ‘religious fanatics’ to the college.
Stating that the college had consented the students to wear the attire of Ayyappa Vrithadharis, she at the same time added that it was only when it came to the notice of the college that they would be absent for six days during the exams in January that they were asked to bring their parents. However, this issue was earlier ‘twisted’ in reports, she said.
