Mangalore, Oct 10, 2012: Moulana Abdussalam, head of the Mangalore Unity Centre, formally launched the recently inaugurated Diploma Education in Arabic Language (DEAL) in Mangalore on Oct 8, Monday.
DEAL, an 8-month course for female Arabic teachers, is an initiative of Hidaya Mesco Arabic Academy, a wing of Hidaya Foundation, and Campus Career Academy (CCA) of Mangalore.
Salih Sayyed, member of the Riyadh unit of Hidaya Foundation, G. Mohammed Haneef, Zainul Abid, and others were also present.
Those who complete DEAL are guaranteed jobs because there is a high demand for primary and high school Arabic teachers. During the last 3 years, as many as 45 women from UK, Davanagere, and Udupi have completed this course in Hidaya Mesco Arabic Academy and have been placed in various schools all over DK.
Students will be taught the Arabic alphabet, writing, grammar, pronunciation, teaching methodologies, computers, English language skills, and personality evolution. As many as 30 students will be accepted in one batch.
