ABVP wins Students Council elections of Mangalore University College

Mangalore, July 19, 2013 : The ABVP candidates have won in 26 out of the 31 seats in the elections to the Mangalore University College Students’ Union. The NSUI candidates secured five seats  in the election.

Sandesh K L of  IIIrd BSc was elected the President of the students’ council, while  Mahesh Raj from IIIrd BA was elected as  Secretary. Others elected are :  Avinash from IIIrd BA( fine arts secretary), Shwetha from IIIrd BBM (Joint Secretary) and Pavitra from IIIrd B Com(Fine arts joint secretary).

The ABVP also took out a victory rally  from the University College. The rally passed through AB Shetty Circle, KS Rao Road, MG Road, Ladyhill, Lalbagh, Jyothi and culminated at Hampankatta.
