ABVP demands action against perpetrators of Hyderabad blasts

Mangalore, Feb 23, 2013 : The Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a protest in Mangalore on February 23, Saturday to condemn the recent Hyderabad blasts. The agitators also observed a minute’s silence to pray for the souls of the victims of the blast.

Speaking on the occasion, ABVP State Secretary Ramesh said the Hyderabad blasts would have never occurred had the government initiated stringent measures after the previous blasts that rocked Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore.

Such disruptive acts can be prevented only when the perpetrators of such acts are brought to book, he observed. “Terrorism can be wiped out from the nation only when there the government, intelligence and security forces work together and track down the culprits,” he added.

He also made an appeal to the government for stringent measures to prevent such disruptive acts in the future.
