4 injured in jeep-bus collision at Kallaup

Mangalore, Dec 6, 2012: A head-on collision between a jeep and a bus at Kallaup   near here  on the morning of December 6, Thursday, has   left four persons injured. The injured including children, have been hospitalized. Traffic on the route was disrupted for  over an hour following the accident.

Reports said the jeep  was over speeding jeep  was on its way to Kerala from Mangalore, while the bus  was heading towards the city from Kumpala.


However, a major tragedy was averted, thanks to the bus driver, who had slowed down the speed of the bus on seeing the over speeding jeep.


Ullal police have  registered a case.
