4 arrested for harassing young woman at pub

Mangaluru, August 6, 2024: Pandeshwar Police have arrested four persons on the charges of harassing a young woman who had come to a pub at Pandeshwar along with her female friend. The incident took place on Saturday.

Those arrested are Preethesh (33), Nithesh (32), Vinay (30) and Mahesh (28). The woman had come to the pub situated at a mall at Pandeshwar along with her friend when a group of youth who were partying there reportedly abused her and tried to harass her.

Based on the complaint of the woman, the police arrested the four. Of them one person has been remanded to judicial custody while three others were released on bail.
