Deputy Commissioner Harsh Gupta, has in a press communiqué  informed that  the HPCL has extended a total amount of Rs 17 lakh as an intermediate ex-gratia  of Rs 1.5 lakh each to the next of kin of deceased  in the Perne LPG tanker tragedy that took place on April 9. It has also provided Rs 50,000  as compensation to the injured.
