Udupi, May 21, 2017: The light showers which different parts of the district are experiencing have also led to some accidents. An over speeding mini tempo rammed against the railing  of the Udyavar bridge  after its driver lost control over the vehicle.  Luckily, no one was injured.

Near Venoor, a car almost climbed a tree. The photo of this mishap has also become viral on social sites. In this case too no one was hurt.

In Kunjattur several passengers sustained minor injuries after a bus overturned.
