3 kids dead after pushed into well by father; mother survives

Mangaluru, June 24, 2022: In a shocking incident reported from Padmanur in Mulki, three children lost their lives after they were pushed into a well by their own father. The children’s mother who too was pushed into the well, survived.

 

 

 

The deceased children are Rashmitha (13), Uday (11) and Dakshith(4).

Hitesh is a daily wage labourer and his wife eked a living by rolling beedies until recently. To supplement their income she had taken up cleaner’s job at a shop, the complaint says.

The accused father Hithesh Shettigar (42) has been arrested. Mulki police are investigating the case.
