A person from Tokkottu was killed on the spot when  his two-wheeler was hit by a tanker near the Ullal bridge at Tokkottu on April 4, Thursday.

A pregnant woman who was suffering from labour pains met a tragic end in a road accident  involving an autorickshaw and a KSRTC bus, while she was being taken to the hospital for delivery. The accident took place on the NH near Kumble Railway station  at around 9.30 am on April 4, Thursday. Three others sustained serious injuries in the mishap.
