Mangalore, Nov 3, 2013: Two workers of Air India Express sustained injuries when lightning struck them while on duty at the airport on November 2, Saturday evening.
The injured Yogish and Raghavendra worked as loaders for Air India Express. They were struck by lightning when they were loading goods into an Air India Express flight which was scheduled to take off to Goa.
Both have sustained injuries on their back and legs and have been hospitalized.
The strong winds that lashed the city on Saturday evening also dislodged the roofing of a cracker stall at Kankanady injuring two girls.
