‘Bale Thelipaale’ comedy competition commences at Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple

Badaga, Yedapadav, April 25, 2013: ‘Bale Thelipaale’, a comedy competition commenced at Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple from 20th April 2013 and will conclude on 2nd June 2013. ‘Bale Thelipaale’ is the first Tulu reality show being hosted by the temple in association with NammaTV.

The show was inaugurated on Saturday 20th April by Mrs. Preamalatha Shetty, member of the temple managing committee. The temple chief co-ordinator Mr. Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Mr. Kantappa Shetty of Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Bajana Mandali, Mr. Premanath Shetty, Mr. Arjun Rai, Mr. Sudharam Poonja, temple manager Mr. Shubash Rao and Dr. Shivasharan of NammaTV were present on the occasion. Naveen Shetty Edmemar compeered the programme.

 

The first round of auditions for the contest commenced immediately thereafter. Mr. Chandrahas Ullal, Mr. Vijaynath Shetty and Mr. Vasudeva Kottary were the judges for the auditions. Roopesh Shetty and Suvarna Shetty moderated the contest auditions.

The preliminary auditions of ‘Bale Thelipaale’ will be staged every Saturday (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)  and Sunday (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.) till 2nd June. The participants are given 5 minutes of stage time to perform their comedy talents and their performance will be judged by renowned personalities. Maximum two members are allowed per team. Capsule of the show will be telecast on NammaTV on all days of the week. After the finals, prizes will be given in two categories: (1) Till 14 Years (Male/Female): First - Rs. 50,000, Second – Rs. 25,000/- and Third – Rs. 15,000/-; (2) Above 14 Years (Male/Female): First - Rs. 1,00,000, Second – Rs. 50,000/- and Third – Rs. 25,000/-.
