Vijayanagara, Jul 23, 2026: In a heart-wrenching incident, the body of a newborn baby was found floating in a canal in Hosapete town of Vijayanagara district on Wednesday.

The infant, believed to have been born only recently, was spotted floating in the Basavanna Canal in Hosapete. The discovery shocked local residents, who gathered at the spot after noticing the body.
