Smriti Mandhana calls off wedding to Palash Muchhal

Mumbai, Dec 7, 2025: India women’s cricket team star Smriti Mandhana has confirmed that her wedding to music composer Palash Muchhal has been called off, ending weeks of speculation.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Mandhana said she was compelled to clarify the situation amid widespread rumours. “I need to clarify that the wedding is called off,” she stated, while requesting privacy for both families.
The wedding was earlier scheduled for November 23, 2025, but was postponed following health emergencies in both families. The speculation intensified after wedding-related posts were removed from her social media accounts.
Mandhana said she would keep her focus on cricket, adding that representing India remains her top priority. She appealed to the public and media to respect the privacy of both families during this time.
