Sidhartha Mallya surprises all by becoming a certified Church priest

New Delhi, June 24, 2012: This is something which no one on the planet could have predicted. You have seen him handling corporate affairs, partying hard with girlfriends and attending all those glamour events. But now, he has added a few more real life roles in his kitty, perhaps on his own discretion.

The heir of the UB Group, Sidhartha Mallya has revealed to the world that he is a certified ordained priest of the Universal Life Church. All of which simply means that he is now good enough by law to perform all the functions of the clergymen.

The formal announcement from Mallya Jr. came via his twitter updates which precisely read, “My certificate confirming that I’ve been ordained…Can now legally call myself the Rev. Mallya!!”

He also tweeted a short list of his new rights and duties, “Apparently I can perform weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessings, and preach, teach and hold meetings... Joey did it in ‘Friends’!!!”

We wonder what made Sid take this unconventional step. Call of the conscience, we guess?

Mr. John Tauro: What you have said is very true. Even among the highly educated and wealthy people, there is a spiritual awakening taking place now. We are going to be surprised by many unexpected new release from powerful and influentical people of the society who were sitting behind the shade, but will come out openly and proclaim the truth that they are followers of JESUS CHRIST. When they find the reality of PEACE AND JOY that the world could’t give, they will be following that very easily through JESUS. Perhaps, this economic crisis is a blessing in disguise in many lives!

Indeed, it is a huge surprise that Siddartha Mallya has been ordained as a priest. Congratulations, Reverend Mallya! Here I am reminded of what Jesus Christ said: What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26) What matters is eternal life. As a Christian and servant of God, he will be even more blessed: "God has pleasure in the prosperity of his servants" (Psalm 35:27). Please go forward with patience and dediction.

Many such news will be coming out in the days ahead. Extremely wealthy people, sons and daughters of political leaders from various religions will throw away all of their material wealth and positions of life, and will be following the footsteps of JESUS CHRIST to attain perfect peace and joy in life, because the living GOD JESUS can give peace and joy unconditionally to everybody who comes to HIM. Recently, one Prince in the Kuwaitee Royal family became a follower of JESUS CHRIST. All the best wishes and prayers.
