India facing many challenges, will emerge victorious: PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi, Jun 11, 2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on to say that India has all the required resources to become atma nirbhar or self-reliant. He said that the country has to focus on developing local manufacturing businesses. He said it is time to become "vocal for local". PM Modi said that it is important for India to become atma nirbhar in the post-Covid world and focus on local manufacturing and businesses.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said India is currently facing a host of challenges but added that the country will emerge victorious in the fight against coronavirus.
"The world is fighting Coronavirus, India is fighting that too. But there are other issues also. Flood, locusts, hailstorm, fire in oil well, small earthquakes, two cyclones - we are fighting all of these together," PM Modi said on the 95th Annual Day of Indian Chamber of Commerce.
