Daily feast of fresh music: Mysuru to host Yuva Dasara for 5 days; Prabhu Deva to inaugurate

Mysuru, Sep 29, 2026: Yuva Dasara will be held for five days from October 13 to 17 under the theme ‘A Daily Feast of Fresh Music’, featuring performances by leading singers, musicians and film personalities.

The events will be held from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm near the Sri Jwalamukhi Tripurasundari Temple on Mysuru Ring Road.

Renowned dancer, choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva will inaugurate Yuva Dasara on October 13. Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, Urban Development and Mysuru District In-charge Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah and other ministers are expected to attend the inaugural event.

Performances by prominent artists will be held from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm, while local and selected artistes from different regions will present filler programmes from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

On October 13, music director Ajaneesh Loknath and his team will present a musical concert featuring singers Abi B, Nakash Aziz, Vasuki Vaibhav, Sai Vignesh, Ananya Bhat, Mangli, Jaskaran Singh, Aishwarya Rangarajan, C R Bobby, Harshika Devanath, Anirudh Shastri, Indu Nagaraj and Seshank Seshagiri.

On October 14, acclaimed music director and singer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will perform, followed by a musical performance by multilingual singer Sid Sriram on October 15.

October 16 will feature ‘Sandalwood Nights’, with performances by actors and singers including Shivarajkumar, Rachita Ram, Vijay Prakash, Rajesh Krishnan, Chandan Shetty and Anuradha Bhat.

The five-day programme will conclude on October 17 with a musical evening featuring singer Jasmine Sandlas along with other cultural programmes.
