Ashwin made several calls to Sham Bhat

Bengaluru, July 14, 2015, dhns: Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao’s son Ashwin has made umpteen number of calls to Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) Commissioner T Sham Bhat.

The calls were made from 9849052678, which is in Ashwin’s name. Sources told Deccan Herald that the calls were made between November 2014 and May 2015.

The Call Detail Records (CDR) of Ashwin’s mobile number show that the highest number of calls to Bhat were made in December 2014.

“The CDR list shows that Ashwin made more than 100 calls to Bhat. Calls were also made to other public servants from this number and also from other numbers which are in fake names,” said sources.

Interestingly, the handset used by Riyaz (bearing number 9845444447) was used to make calls with Anthony’s SIM card. This apart, the report stated that substantial evidence was found against private agents, Srinivasa Gowda, V Bhaskar, Krishna alias Hotte Krishna, Naresh, Mahesh and Krishna Rao.

The Lokayukta police said that there was another person by name Krishna Rao, a name used both by him and Ashwin while approaching public servants.  The number 9066029213 used to call Executive Engineer Krishnamurthy is in the name of a woman from Sondekoppa near Nelamangala.

The police also found that the same SIM card was used to call another executive engineer from Tumakuru City Municipal Council, Rudrappa.

In fact, Rudrappa had come to the second floor of the Lokayukta office, next to the Lokayukta’s chamber. The engineer, however, denied paying Krishna Rao.
