February 06, 2024: Bike stunts, once popularised by modern daredevils such as Travis Pastrana and Robbie Maddinson, have taken a perilous turn as some individuals turn them into daily road spectacles. Recently, a viral video captured a man riding a motorcycle while engrossed in mobile gaming, elevating the stunt’s difficulty by manipulating the bike with his legs. Netizens drew comparisons to scenes from Rajnikanth’s movies, humorously labelling the stuntman as Rajinikanth’s nephew. However, the careless nature of the stunt has shocked viewers, with many branding him a game addict.

In the video, a man, presumed to be Mansor, executes the dangerous stunt while a friend records the spectacle instead of urging him to stop. Lying on the bike and steering with his foot, Mansor narrowly avoids a fatal collision while overtaking a truck, even touching its front section. The accompanying caption reads, “Say Mashallah,” and the video has amassed over 2.7 million views on Instagram.

Netizens, upon viewing the footage, have condemned the reckless stunt in the comments section. Concerns about endangering the lives of others on the road were expressed, with some calling the stuntman a game addict. Some took a lighthearted approach, jokingly remarking, “Yamraj is on holiday today.”

The internet is flooded with such risky videos, challenging the notion that only Gen Z individuals engage in such behaviour. An elderly man in Punjab recently went viral for a bike stunt where he nonchalantly sat without steering the handle. With both legs on one side, he appeared as if casually lounging on a bench while the bike moved at a moderate pace on a busy road. The video, reportedly taken on the Patiala-Samana road in Punjab, has stirred demands for action against the elderly biker, with users urging authorities to cancel his driving licence.

As these dangerous stunts continue to proliferate on social media, concerns about public safety and the need for responsible behaviour on the roads have become prominent topics of discussion.
