March 14, 2023: Does the name Kshama Bindu ring a bell in your ears? Well, the 24-year-old woman from Gujarat went viral after she married herself in the first case of sologamy in India. Now, in a similar incident, a woman named Sofi Maure got married to herself. However, unlike Kshama, Sofi is considering divorce. That too just after 24 hours of marrying herself. Yes, you read that right.

 

So, here’s the story. 25-year-old Sofi Maure decided to get married to herself in February. She even shared a few pictures of herself in a white bridal gown on Twitter. Sofi also mentioned that she baked a cake.

"Today, in the most spurious moments of my life, I bought a wedding dress and cooked a wedding cake to marry myself," reads the caption of her post.

Needless to say that her post went viral online and prompted a ton of reactions from Twitterati.

Well, that was on February 20. However, in just 24 hours, Sofi couldn’t take it anymore and was considering a divorce. And no, we are not kidding.

"Update: one day I’m married to myself and I can’t take it anymore, I’m seeing how the divorce issue is just in case," she wrote.
