June 20, 2022: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were blessed with their first child, a daughter, in January 2022. The much-in-love couple welcomed their daughter via surrogacy. Priyanka and Nick named their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. They celebrated their first Father’s Day with their daughter and it was all about love. The couple shared a cute picture on their respective Instagram handles, along with special notes. However, what caught our attention are the sneakers that the daddy-daughter duo is wearing in the photo.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated their first father’s day with daughter Malti Marie. The actress wished her husband on the special occasion as she took to her official Instagram account to drop an adorable pic of the father-daughter duo. In the picture, Nick Jonas and Malti Marie are seen wearing matching sneakers. While the toddler’s shoes have ’MM’ written on them, Nick’s says "MM’s Dad". In this one too, Priyanka refrained from revealing her daughter’s face. In the photo, the two have their backs to the camera.

 


Along with the post, Priyanka also posted a heartwarming note for Nick. She wrote, "Happy 1st Father’s Day my love. To watch you with our little girl is my greatest joy..what an amazing day to come back home I love you.. here’s to many more (sic)."

 

 

Nick Jonas also posted the same photo on his official Instagram account and wrote, "First Father’s Day with my little girl. Thank you @priyankachopra for the incredible Father Daughter sneakers and for making me a daddy I love you so much. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and caretakers out there (sic)."

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have selected Malti Marie Chopra Jonas as the name of their girl. While the word ’Malti’ is derived from Sanskrit and means a small fragrant flower or moonlight. Marie is derived from the Latin word ’Maris’ which means star of the sea. Marie is also the French version of Mary, mother of Jesus Christ.
