Paris, Oct 6, 2026: Janhvi Kapoor might be emotionally wrought by the deepfake video of the “Chuttamalle" song featuring Jr NTR surfacing online. While the industry has rallied around her, she is a consummate professional, and the actor is currently in Paris, representing the country on an international stage.

Janhvi Kapoor is at the annual Business of Fashion (BoF) event that is being held in Paris. The BoF 500 Gala is being hosted by The Business of Fashion (BoF) on October 3, 2026. It is an annual celebration of the newly revealed global index of leaders shaping the fashion industry.

This year adds 100 new members chosen from 445 nominees across eight categories, including designers, executives, models, and entrepreneurs. Janhvi Kapoor is one of the few Indians mentioned in this list.

Models Bhavitha Mandava and Pritika Swarup are also added to this prestigious list. Bhavitha Mandava made her name after she went viral for becoming the first Indian woman to open a show for Chanel at the Métiers d’Art show 2026 and has also been named Chanel ambassador. Pritika Swarup is a successful model, global ambassador for Operation Smile and the founder of Prakti, an Ayurveda-based beauty brand.

For this prestigious event, Janhvi Kapoor brought Indian fashion to the world stage. She was styled by Rhea Kapoor, renowned stylist and daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor. She also shared a photo dump of the actor on Instagram and broke down this look.

In the caption of an Instagram post, Rhea Kapoor wrote, “@janhvikapoor in Paris for the @bof gala wears @pankaj_s_heritage. Ethereal 460 count Bengal Muslin which is Khud – Rang aka unbleached, woven like air, also called Baft – E – Hawa , Shabnami or Chandani , the truest form of Luxury, Muslin Khadi, woven solely in India. The sleeves are ornate with Polkies, Garnets and Emeralds amalgamated with Saraafa Tassels with Kiran and Resham fringing."

Janhvi Kapoor brought Indian craftsmanship as she was dressed in a custom creation by Pankaj S Heritage. The ethereal off-white ensemble reimagined the classic six-yard silhouette with a contemporary, low-slung drape, bare shoulders and an elegant floor-skimming pallu.

Crafted from 460-count Bengal Muslin, the look celebrated the beauty of Indian textiles while keeping its aesthetic distinctly modern. The understated ivory canvas was contrasted with elaborate handcrafted adornments featuring gold beads, pearls, shells, emeralds, polkis and tassels, creating a dramatic shoulder-to-arm jewellery moment.

At one of Paris Fashion Week’s most influential fashion gatherings, Janhvi’s look struck a balance between heritage and contemporary global glamour — putting Indian design, textile artistry and craftsmanship firmly in the international spotlight.
