January 14, 2022: American model Kylie Jenner has become the first woman in the world to reach 300 million followers on Instagram. Before Kylie, 24, Ariana Grande occupied the top spot as the most-followed woman on the app. The singer had amassed 146.5 million followers in February 2019 and with that, she surpassed Selena Gomez, who had earned the most-followed spot before Ariana. At present, Ariana has 289 million followers, the same as Selena.
Instagram’s official account has the highest number of followers - 460 million followed by Cristiano Ronaldo at 388 million.
Kylie Jenner, who is expecting her second child with Travis Scott, shares several personal as well as professional updates on Instagram for her fans and followers. Last week, dressed in a cropped shirt and distressed denims, Kylie flaunted her baby bump in a new set of pictures.
Kylie had also shared pictures from her Halloween celebrations with daughter Stormi and Travis Scott last year.
In November, Kylie took a break from social media after 10 people died at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival show in Houston. She returned to Instagram on December 25 as she posted a throwback picture of her mother Kris Jenner.
Kylie Jenner starred in the reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians from 2007 to 2021. She is also the founder of the cosmetic company Kylie Cosmetics.
