Bahrain, May 25, 2025: Michelle Maria D’Souza, a 21-year-old Data Science student from Christ University, Pune, has been crowned Indian Club May Queen 2025 in Bahrain. She also bagged the title of Best Hair-Do, adding to her long list of accolades.
Born and raised in Bahrain to Mangalurean parents Sunil and Veena D’Souza, Michelle began competing at age four and has since built a decorated track record in cultural and academic pursuits. Her win is celebrated as a culmination of two decades of dedication and excellence.
An alumna of The Indian School, Bahrain, Michelle honed her talents through platforms like the Karnataka Social Club, Konkan Singers Club, Kannada Sangha, and Sacred Heart Church. Her interests span singing, dancing, acting, and athletics — all balanced with academic distinction in the field of Data Science.
“Michelle’s elegance, grace, and unwavering confidence truly shone through,” said the event organisers. Her poised stage presence and intellect were praised by the pageant jury.
Michelle expressed gratitude to Indian Club President Cassius Pereira and the organising team for their support. Her achievement has sparked celebration across Bahrain’s Indian and Mangalurean communities.
