Dubai, Sep 06, 2023: Four expatriates from Kerala were among five Indians killed in a horrific traffic accident in Bahrain.

The fatal collision occurred between the car in which they were travelling in and a cleaning company’s truck near the Aali area on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway.

The Friday night crash happened when the victims were on their way to Muharrag from Salmabad.

All five individuals were employees of Al Hilal Hospital in Muharraq.

The victims have been identified as VP Mahesh from Kozhikode, Jagath Vasudevan from Malappuram, Gaider George (Thrissur), Akhil Raghu (Kannur), and Suman Rajanna, a native of Telangana.

The bodies have been kept at the Salmaniva Medical Complex mortuary.

The Interior Ministry has launched an investigation into the crash and a report detailing the circumstances of the tragedy is slated to be submitted to the Public Prosecution.
