Vittal: 7 workers injured as under-construction bridge collapses

Vittal, April 15, 2024: Seven labourers were injured when an under construction bridge at Barenja- Kurudakatte in Punacha village collapsed on Monday.
The incident took place when concrete laying works were underway for the final phase slab construction. The iron rod gave way resulting in the mishap and all seven labourers were beneath the debris. They have been rescued and shifted to Puttur government hospital.
