Uppinangady: Bitumen lorry catches fire

Uppinangady, Feb 15, 2024: A bitumen transportation lorry was partially gutted after it accidentally caught fire near Udane on NH 75 on the midnight of February 13.
The lorry was on way to Bengaluru from Mangaluru when smoke was noticed. The driver immediately got out of the vehicle and soon it caught fire. People engaged in road work nearly helped in putting out the fire.
A short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire.
