Suratkal murder case : Three accused arrested

Mangalore, Feb 6, 2014 : It has been reliably gathered that the Suratkal police who are investigating into the recent case of broad daylight murder of a youth named Prakash,  have arrested three of the accused.

It may be recalled here that Prakash, an accused in the case of Kodikere Shivaraj murder case of 2012 was brutally hacked to death after dragging him out of a bus near the NITK here on February 4 afternoon. The assailants had then fled the place.

The bike used by the killers was soon recovered by the police. It has been gathered that the prime accused in the case is a dreaded criminal who is also wanted in various other cases.

The murder took place when Prakash who had been to the Panambur police station to sign the register along with his father, was returning home in the bus.

The identities of the accused have not yet been divulged by the police. Details are awaited.
