 Mangalore, Feb 6, 2014 :  Mrigabete Utsav was held with grandeur at the Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet  on February 5, Wednesday in connection with the Car Festival of the Temple.

The  ritual was held in the revered presence of Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, the anointed disciple of Srimad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji,  the senior Pontiff of Kashi Mutt Samsthan.

 The Small Car Festival (Sanna Rathothsava) of the Temple was held  on February  5, Wednesday evening after the seer offered Phala Prasada to  two volunteers who rendered yeoman services to the Temple. Thousands of people had thronged   the temple premises to be part of the much awaited  Car Festival celebrations.

Vasantha Pooja :  Earlier, Vasantha Pooja was also offered to the Lord Sri Veera Venkatesha at the Sri Venkatramana Temple, by Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji as part of the Car Festival.
