Udyavar, Mar 04, 2023: Close on the heels of senior Congress leader Ramanatha Rai stating that the upcoming assembly elections in the state will be the last elections that he would contest, another Congress leader and former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake too has said the same.

Addressing a party leaders meeting at Udyavar on Friday, Sorake was emotional when he said he has been able to render service to the people without any black spot and that he has responded to the problems of the people whether he was in power or not. The upcoming election will be the last election that I will fight, he added.

Lashing out at the BJP government in the state, he said the government was neck deep in corruption.
