Puttur, June 6, 2013: KJP leader and former minister Shobha Karandlaje has made it clear that no KJP leader is in touch with any BJP or Sangh Parivar leader.
Speaking to press persons after visiting the Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple at Puttur, the former minister tried to draw curtains to speculations over possible merger of KJP with the BJP and clarified that no talks have been held in this regard so far.
The confidante of former CM and KJP President Yeddyurappa also claimed that the exit of Yeddyurappa has dealt a major blow to the BJP. The people of Karnataka will never forgive the BJP for expelling Yeddyurappa who had strived hard for the party for over four decades. The party will be taught a befitting lesson even in the Parliamentary polls as in Assembly polls, Shobha said.
Stating that she would always support all decisions taken by Yeddyurappa, Shobha further struck a note of optimism when she said more people would join KJP in the days to come.
