Mangalore, Jan 14, 2014: If reliable sources are to be believed senior leader B Janardhan Poojari was all likely to get a ticket to contest the Parliamentary polls from Dakshina Kannada constituency, while sitting MP Jayaprakash Hegde would be given another chance from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency.
This news may certainly come as a relief to the Janardhana Poojari camp which is a bit shaken ever since the entry of union minister Veerappa Moily’s son Harsha Moily in the district Congress.
It is believed that the party leadership wants to give Poojari yet another chance to prove himself, despite Congress Vice President saying that youngsters would get priority this time.
As far as other constituencies go, Veerappa Moily is likely to be fielded from his sitting Chikkaballapur constituency. Others who are certain to get a ticket are Mallikarjun Kharge from Gulbarga, Ramya from Mysore, Muniappa from Kolar, H Vishwanath from Mysore and Dharam Singh from Bidar.
