Moodbidri, April 13, 2024: A teacher accused of sexually harassing minor girl students and was absconding ever since a POCSO case was filed against him, has been arrested by the police.

The accused teacher is Guru M P. He was serving the Kallamundkur High School and was suspended after POCSO case was filed against him. His anticipatory bail plea was also rejected by the District Sessions Court.

The aggrieved students, their parents and head master of the school had lodged a complaint. The accused teacher was known to be a good orator and was active in cultural and sports activities.
