A grandson of Ramanath Goenka, the legendary founder of Indian Express newspaper, Santosh Goenka has a lifetime’s experience in media being associated with various ventures including Indian Express and Business India group. He has recently tied up with Spearhead Media as a mentor for the company.

In his keynote address, Santosh Goenka observed, “Every newspaper to be successful has to reach the reader.” He analyzed the opportunities and trends in media and gave new perspectives on how to tap these opportunities. “Today there are huge possibilities, and huge opportunity. It’s an exciting time for us.” He praised Spearhead Media’s motto to remain focused on positive journalism. “Every media is negative. We need to break this and become positive,” he said.

D. B. Mehta in his address said media has become very important in day to day living. “There was a time when no news was considered to be good news. Today with the advent of technology and social media, news travels almost instantly and we have become a news hungry nation.”
