Murali Manohar extols the ’saffron ideology’ as people’s choice

Mangalore,  May 26, 2014: National-level 4 day meet of the Akhil Bharata Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was launched in Sangh Niketan at Mannagudda Mangalore on May 26. An invocation was the start.  The conference was inaugurated by the National President of ABVP Murali Manohar, significantly lighting the traditional lamp along with other dignitaries present.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Murali Manohar stated, "In this Lok Sabha election we have seen the peoples decisive mind in bringing changes in the country. The youth specially and the students are still in a victorious mood after the election results.

People wanted a political change as they were fed up with the inefficient, corrupt and ineffective governance of the Congress party. ABVP has played a leading role in bringing changes in the country by holding awareness programmes for students. We have kept away ourselves from partisan politics".

Adding that the students are the present and future citizens of India and they have their duties and responsibilities to bring wide change. Through awareness campaigns we have encouraged students. 14 crore voters were registered for the first time and had gone to the polling booth to cast their votes.

We are the political change, we mobilized students and people directly and through cyber world. In the social networking sites students have played a special role and brought awareness among the people and youth. The youth want a change and we have guided them accordingly.

He stressed that people have high aspirations for good peak governance hoping for a leader with courage, clarity and conviction. Modi with all the qualities  is the right choice, the person to take the country towards success.

Peoples mandate is in favour of the Saffron Ideology. People like our ideology and they have voted for our ideology. It is not a political change but a social change and this is the time to bring change at all levels and all aspects of India. Now it is our goal to double membership. The youth and students will lead.

Twelve resolutions are drawn up to discuss with the new BJP government. Priority will be given to women’s safety and security, they need it most. After the recent incident, the law in punishing the culprits is not enough. The Girls campuses are not safe, due to ’love jihad’ girls have gone missing. Mangalore is famous for good education, but safety of women is bad now.

The North East students feel vulnerable, racism is kept alive in big cities. In the North East good educational institutions are rare.our needs and demands will be placed before the new government; they must start educational institutions in the North East, so that the students can have education in their home environment. North East is part of India, all are Indians, ensuring their rights too is vital because we all the same.

The  out right commercialization of education must be put to an end and ABVP will make demands that the government bring wholesome education to all. Academic and economic development should go in tandem for a developed India. To ensure our country to develop our strength should be in our youth, through good education.

ABVP National General Secretary Hari Borikar and ABVP National Organizing Secretary Sunil Ambekar also spoke on the occasion. The mood was nothing less than patriotic and up-beat.
