Completing the winning streak, five individuals with numbers JA 889087, JB 589007, JC 459412, JD 773330 and JE 454962 will secure Rs 2 Lakh each.

According to the Manorama report, Jojo Joseph sells tickets from a small lottery stall and even travels to other districts in a Tata Nano. He said, “Most of my tickets are sold in Kannur district. Some of the tickets are given to sub-agents who are our friends in Ernakulam district. We exchange tickets because some customers insist on buying tickets from a particular district. So we don’t know who the buyers are. But the chances are high that the winners could be from Kannur district.”

This is not the first time Jojo and her wife Marykutty have sold tickets with mega amounts. Over the years, he has won Rs 2 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5,000 from the lottery. However, this was the first time when they have sold the winning ticket of Rs 12 Crore. However, Joseph expressed a concern that the winners might choose not to disclose their identities due to the negative experience faced by Anoop from Sreevaraham in Thiruvananthapuram. Anoop had won the Onam Bumper prize of Rs 25 Crore in 2022.

Reportedly, the winner of the grand amount won’t receive the entire amount. They are expected to pay a 30 percent tax. After deduction, a person will take home Rs 7.56 Crore. From this amount, Marykutty Joseph will receive Rs 1.2 Crore, while Jojo Joseph will get Rs 10 lakh.
