 Kundapur, April 10, 2014 : It is  Congress culture to  neglect efficient and capable women and relegate them to the background, alleged Tejaswini Ramesh, former MP who recently joined the BJP.

Addressing a huge women’s convention held at the Nehru Maidan at Kundapur under the aegis of the BJP on April 9, Wednesday, she said a woman is able to achieve anything provided she makes up her mind. Tejaswini Ramesh also exuded confidence that the women  by electing a capable leader like Modi will help him rise to the post of the prime minister.

Tejaswini charged the Congress of resorting to a divide and rule policy and it is only an able leader who can set things right and help in the nation’s progress.

She further urged the voters to support Shobha Karandlaje, the BJP candidate from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency.

Shobha who also spoke  said the women will exercise their franchise this time keeping in mind the best interests of the  nation.

Kota Srinivas Poojari, MLC, Sampavathi Shetty, Kundapur BJP Mahila Morcha President,  TP Chief Deepika Shetty and several others were present.
