Kadaba, Feb 22, 2014: It seems Harsha Moily, a key contender for a Congress ticket from Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, is all the more keen to help his father and Union Minister Veerappa Moily in the latter’s efforts to convince the people of the coastal district that Yettinahole Project would do no ‘harm.’
Participating in a party workers meeting held at Kadaba Block Congress office on February 21, Friday, Harsha said it was a wrong conception that the project would leave Dakshina Kannada a barren district. He also stressed the need to create an awareness in this regard. At the same time, Harsha said he would not like to comment anything on the efforts made by some to politicise the Yettinahole issue.
Admitting that he was a key contender for a ticket from Dakshina Kannada LS seat, Harsha claimed that he had received good response from party workers. “ Party workers here are expecting a fresh face who could ensure a win for the party which has faced successive defeats,” he said.
PP Varghese, President of Kadaba Block Congress., Bharath Mundodi, Sudhir Kumar Shetty and others were present.
