Mangaluru, Mar 11, 2023: Gas leakage was detected in one of the HPCL tankers  which was being transported through train. The leakage was noticed after the train had travelled for seven kms from Mangaluru.

The train has returned to Mangaluru. All precautions have been taken in Jokatte area following the gas leakage. A fire tender vehicle has also been deployed near the railway gate as a precautionary measure. Public have been asked not to come closer to the tracks near Jokatte.
