Gang attack on 2 youth at KC Road near Kinya

Mangalore, Jan 22, 2014: Two youth were injured in gang attacks in two separate incidents at KC Road on January 21, Tuesday.

In the first case, a youth named Hitaprasad (26) sustained injuries when he was assaulted by a group on Tuesday afternoon. Sources said someone had telephoned him and had asked him to come to KC Road near Kinya in Derlakatta area. When he arrived there he was assaulted.

In another case, this one reported on Tuesday night, a person identified as Badrul Muneer (28) was stabbed by a gang which soon fled the spot. The incident took place when Muneer was heading towards home in his bike at around 11 pm after visiting a hospital in Derlakatte where a relative was admitted.

Ullal police are investigating both the cases.
