Fire mishap at Hampankatta Branch of Syndicate Bank

Mangalore, Jan 14, 2014: A fire mishap has been reported from the Hampankatta Branch of Syndicate Bank at around 8.30 on January 13, Monday night. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
The fire was brought under control by two fire service vehicles which rushed to the spot from the Pandeshwar fire service station. The fire brigade men broke open the windows of the branch building to douse the fire.
The damage caused due to the fire is yet to be assessed.
